Effective date: April 26, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how PNW IT Solutions (“we,” “us,” “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on pnwitsolutions.com (the “Site”). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser when you visit. They let the site remember things like whether you’re signed in, your preferences, and information that helps the site work properly. We also use related technologies — local storage, pixels, and similar — and refer to all of them collectively as “cookies” in this policy.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These keep the Site working. They can’t be turned off and don’t store information that identifies you for any other purpose.
- WordPress session & login cookies (
wordpress_*,wordpress_logged_in_*,wp-settings-*) — set when you sign in to the customer portal so we can keep you authenticated as you move between pages. Lifespan: session, or up to 14 days if you choose “Remember me.” - Comment cookies (
comment_author_*) — if you ever leave a comment, your name and email may be saved so you don’t have to retype them. Lifespan: about a year. - Test cookie (
wordpress_test_cookie) — used briefly to confirm your browser accepts cookies during sign-in. Lifespan: session.
Functional
- Customer portal preferences — Ultimate Member, the plugin powering accounts, may set cookies to remember things like your “Remember me” choice and recent activity inside the portal. Lifespan: session to a few weeks.
Security & spam protection (third-party)
- Google reCAPTCHA — our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 to detect automated abuse. Google sets its own cookies (
_GRECAPTCHA) and reads device, browsing, and IP signals to score whether a submission is likely a bot. We do not control these cookies; their use is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Lifespan: about 6 months.
Analytics
We currently do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on the Site. If we add an analytics provider in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.
3. How to manage cookies
Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and parts of the customer portal — for example, you won’t be able to stay logged in. Here are guides for the major browsers:
You can also send a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. Because we don’t run cross-context behavioral advertising, GPC has no additional effect on the cookies described above — but we honor it as required by applicable law.
4. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add, remove, or change the cookies the Site uses. The “Effective date” at the top reflects the most recent revision. Please check back periodically.
